Tulsa-the home of great coaches in Football and Basketball on their way up.

I think this is a home run for Tulsa

I'm not sure what UH is going to do-it ought to be Herman but I hear some real bad ideas out there

Don't think Herman will go there. He can make more $ at a real school. I suspect he wants to stay in a P5 school. IMO

We also committed to paying P5 type money. Do we have any idea what the 7-11 training center is willing to pay to replace Levine? Just curious.

No clue. For the record I suggested to them that they stick with hiring ST coaches and give Barocio-Leon a call

don't think cougar high can ante up the same type of money that can/did. They are strapped financially and some of their major boosters can no longer drop big bucks on them like they did in the past.

Home run for Tulsa ... kind of surprises me Mont took it. Makes good $$ now. I think he would have had some nicer offers either this year, or the very near future. How much more would Tulsa pay then UH?

great hire for tulsa. I just have to wonder how great of a recruiter he is. Am glad that 'the Chad' has most of his staff lined up so we don't have to fight some of the other schools for good assistants..

Coach Morris is now going to have a lot of completion from new good G5 schools not just the P5 schools.

Good thing he and Rick Hart orchestrated him getting a 1 week head start on the competition - both from a contact perspective and a PR perspective. He had 1 week to himself and SMU. Montgomery and Beaty will be sharing the spotlight with each other and Morris.
