I hear banjo music when you say that!! J/k, Arky is a nice place. Go to that part of the country every year with the in-laws. I fear one year I won't be making it back...
Trust me, for the price it was symphony music not banjos. It was a very nice resort. Booking a little less costly one next year.

Yes, it is crazy. When I lived in Greenville, Royse City was nothing but a couple gas stations and greasy diners on 30. Now it will soon have more people than Greenville. BTW, I'm impressed you know Marvin Sedberry. He's a tough guy. He was the coach in the early 2000s when Greenville made a couple of deep playoff runs. Then he left for Dallas Carter for a few years. Also, at some point in the 2000s Chad Morris was a finalist for the HC job in Greenville.

Stepp will be a great recruiting coordinator for you guys. He and his twin brother coached me when they were players at Newberry and Furman.
If you guys have any film of this guy I'd be happy to take a look!

This is verbatim what my uncle & aunt said, and did, about 20 years ago. As they got older and begin visiting doctors and hospitals more frequently (nothing major, just aging), they decided to move back to the city.

Love the size and from the video I like his use of his hands (both to catch of course but also to get the DB off him).
Starting WRs next year:
DJ Gaines Proche ?
Gaines/Herndon/someone else yet to be identified in the Hback/TE role. Throw in Deion and Durrall as change of pace. RBs Gresham and KC with Pline at FB. Give us a decent OL (going to have to look MUCH different than this year) and have Matt Davis vastly improve as a passer and this offense could actually be exciting. The issue is can we outscore more than 5 teams next year because we know our defense is going to give up tons of points to just about everybody. Our offense is going to have to score 40 points at least 5 times to get us back to bowling next year methinks.

The recent commits and direction is both impressive and exciting. More talent than we were told existed in our bracket. With an even slightly more polished offensive product, and the accompanying increase in first downs averaged per drive (heck, even 3-4 more first downs a half would be huge), that will take some pressure off the defense because they won't be on the field as often.
The opportunity for these incoming recruits and the remaining players to work under a coherent team with an actual plan might cause some eyes to open regarding hidden talent. Not saying we are world beaters...nothing close to that. I am saying that above average players with the potential to make a strong impact can be overwhelmed and destroyed in the system we have witnessed. Probably a horrible example (I know you will troll me for this, but I will do it anyway), but look at Steve Young's stats from his time in Tampa Bay. He turned out to be a pretty good QB once they got him off his back.

Courtland Sutton & Wilson outside, Proche & DJ slot, Gaines & Herndon H/TE Some combination should be able to provide much better blocking on the outside for the bubbles, quick screens, speed sweep, etc.

Less kids around so easier to keep them off your lawn

Coach Sedberry was my nephew Ryan's line coach at Lake Highlands. Tried to get him to take up coaching. Great dude. Edit: I guess it was the son Sedberry, Jr. who was at LH (?) As a side note, Ryan was former SMU quarterback Daniel Miller's starting left tackle at Lake Highlands.

We are going to keep a house in Dallas until they pull us out feet first. But our plan is small cabin in the wilds of Idaho north of Sun Valley.

Yes, that was his son at LH. Sedberry Jr is now the head coach at Garland Naaman Forest. He graduated from Greenville in my sister's class. He''s only 29 - a bright young man.

At least I would have someone to have an intelligent conversation with on the way to the games. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Greenville is just too far from Dallas. Like LA said, if you want the feel of the country with easy access to Dallas then I'd recommend towns like Caddo Mills, Royse City, Forney, or Fate.
As for Wilson, I'm really excited we were able to get this kid. Looks to have great hands and understands how to use his body. Could be a great red zone target.
Back off Warchild seriously.

You should look at Fairview/Lucas. I can be to SMU in about 30 minutes.
