Cavan was at Smoo from 97 - 2001, or 5 full seasons. That means 17 -
38 assuming 11 game seasons.

Rossley at least had a quality TIE against at top ten A$M during his 6 year
tenure. Maybe a few more considering the Sagarin ratings. TCU for first
SWC win resurrected from the DP comes to mind. A few competitive
almosts like last week come to mind against Wisconsin, UNC when Mack
Brown was there, and UCLA come to mind.

Copeland is the quick trigger pulling culprit here.

Mike Cavan 's record went South because recruiting dropped off after his 3rd recruiting season which is exactly what will happen again if this thing ain't turned around PRONTO. We are headed downhill right back to the cellar if we have another year or two like last year's recruiting class and the meager results so far this year. Once again you heard it here first.
