New Braunsfels 51 Marble Falls 7 as New Braunsfels had their best rushing attack of the year. Zach Rhoades was 10-18 for 199 yards No Interceptions. Had 1 TD pass of 61 yards and added 8 carries for 42 yards

Wow! New Braunsfel and Rhoades are starting to put it together. 100 points in the last two weeks winning this week 49-22 over Burnet. Rhoades was involved with 7 scoring plays accounting for 34 points. 4 TD passes, 1 TD run and 2 two point conversions on passes. TD passes were for 43,6, 80 and 16 and the TD run went for 1 yard. Rhoades went 17-28 and 398 yards, no Interceptions and rushed for 22 yards on 12 attempts. Note ZERO interceptions in last 3 weeks.

So does that mean that this time next year we'll hear rumblings about maybe pulling the redshirt off of Rhoades?

Rhoades has New Braunfels on a real role as we head toward the playoffs. New Braunfels 30 Dripping Springs 28. Rhoades was 13 for 26 passing with 1 Int but no Passing TDs. He added 122 yards rushing on 12 carries though with TD runs of 3 and 4 yards, New Braunfels is on a 3 game winning streak.

Zach Rhoades was a candidate for TexasFootball.com High School Player of the Week a week ago for his recent performance during the prior week when he had a hand in about 7 scoring plays. However he didn't win. Too late to vote.

Zac Rhoades was named First Team All-District QB although the District MVP was Kansas QB signee Todd Reising.
