#needthemobinFordChad Morris â€@coachchadmorris Dec 19
@rabidmustangs we all gonna lock arms n get this thing right. #Tempo #PonyUP #PonyUPTempo #needthemobinFord Sounds like someone really...I mean really gets it. Can someone with more experience around actual functioning and successful programs let me know if this is just normal or if we really have seemingly found that needle in a haystack. Need to get those suggestions for t-shirts in to the SID or one of the staff now. I would say normally that is lower level stuff that normally isn't an area the HC or staff would worry about, but I really think HCCM and his guys understand that a total makeover is necessary and want to ensure every single piece is done to their specifications and standards.
Re: #needthemobinFordCM is simply a great fit for us. He's a Texan that understands the way things are and knows that the way you get things done around here is by building relationships. We haven't had that in awhile.
Re: #needthemobinFordGet them when they are freshman-and they haven't been exposed to SMU apathy. The Best Model in the country is what Baylor does with their freshman class-The Baylor Line-truly one of the most impressive groups in the Country.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: #needthemobinFordMaybe he really loves SMU. He went to games when he was younger.
Maybe he would have played for SMU if not for the thing that happened in 1987. We '87 HS grads didn't have an SMU team to play for or support etc.
Re: #needthemobinFord
Going to a soccer game for homecoming in 1987 was miserable! Peruna is my mascot!
Re: #needthemobinFordI must say, I am a little baffled they haven't pushed blue nike visors or #tempo shirts yet. This truly does seem like a no brainer. SMU has done a pretty good job with getting the excitement back up for football, but they could have capitalized on the blue visors and #tempo shirts. The athletic department has made it clear we must increase revenue. It seems like they could have sold out of the shirts and visors twice over the week HCCM was hired.
Re: #needthemobinFordWho should I email about getting the shirts made? I wouldn't mind doing the leg work and would give 100% profit to the Mustang Club.
Edit: I would need a waiver to be allowed to use the SMU trademark. I do believe it would be better if the athletic department got the shirts made through Nike.
Re: #needthemobinFordYou would think someone with a title or moniker similar to SiD would comment on this....maybe.....ya think?!?
Re: #needthemobinFord
Exactly. We are so slow to move on so many obvious things. Shake It Off Moody
Re: #needthemobinFordOnly 10 people would buy them at most
Re: #needthemobinFordwell then how about Chad Cometh?

Re: #needthemobinFordI still have that ugly June Cometh shirt
Re: #needthemobinFordwell, put me down for a couple of those blue visors when they come in. I wear my SMU visor all the time right now, ever since my smu bar hat turned a nasty shade of yellow-brown.
Re: #needthemobinFordMaybe they think it will be cost efficient to do it around an event. Spring game would be ideal. They have plenty of time to come up with a Baylor type strategy before the home opener - Clemson has an amazing game time preso so hccm knows what one looks like for sure.
Re: #needthemobinFordCould care less about the visor...but the shirt should have been made a on the day of the announcement. Should have been given out free to all who attended the presser. Now, you get that out for $15 at the store and online and you will have money in the bank.
