It is amazing that people refuse to believe that June sold the dream of playing D1 college football to so many players who don't have the talent to do so. Certainly appears that HCCM doesn't believe in the "diamond in the rough" strategy.

burcham could think about Tight end - but i don't think he has the wheels for that in this offense.

I would say a transfer is his best option if he wants to play. Might be time to just get an education.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but burcham is scrawny.. 185 or 195 tops

I'd love to have another high profile QB in here to compete for the job, but it just seems that if we are changing both the offensive and defensive schemes, we need all of the scholarships we can get. And having 6 QBs on scholarship (actually 7 with Krstic?) seems like way too many. I don't think CM will hesitate to push guys from california out the door, but Arkansas might be too close for comfort for recruiting reasons...

If we learned anything from the June Jones era it's that QB isn't a position you want to screw around with. The more talent we can accumulate there, the better. Seems like Burcham might be smart enough to see the writing on the wall and leave without being pushed out. I mean he has to know that he's never going to start for us again.

We've already shown that we can put a lot of points on SMU no matter who is at QB.

Congratulations. A high school team could have put up a lot of points against SMU this year.

That was before we signed our #1 choice coach and you signed our #2 choice. Get used to that view.

Merry Xmas!
