How would we turn on him? I think you're overreacting a little.
Just like we turned on him this year until he got eligible. Read some of the comments after he was declared ineligible. The fans would do the same next year too if he is not eligible.

Don't all fans of all teams "selfishly" want their best players on board to give them a better chance of winning. Find it hard to criticize fans for that.

I still think he stays. But if he doesn't. It's not too bad with Ben, Tolbert and Semi. Now we go get that 7 footer.

Rebel10 makes a ridiculous argument that contradicts his own argument for last year ie that SMU should pass him this year so as not to ruin his pro prospects next year

7 footer?? with regards to MK... I want the best for him. If staying is the best then I am happy to have him. If leaving is the best then I was happy to have him

Rebel10 wrote:He risks being ineligible again if he comes back. He is on a thin thread now. If he does good the rest of the year then he should go pro. Does need to listen to SMU fans turn on him and bash him if he does not make the grades. Most SMU fans want him back selfishly so that SMU can have a better chance at making a run in the NCAA tournament but they are masking it behind statements like he could have another year to better his skills. I just hope he has a strong rest of this year.

Who exactly "turned on him"? Go back to defending Chad Kelly.

Hopefully MK does go Pro! Then it means success for MK and SMU/Brown for helping his dream come true

Some of the "it's his fault so to heck with him" type comments were uncalled for.
