SMU v. Cinci - Jan 3rd at 10:00am CST

Postby Dutch » Mon Dec 29, 2014 2:51 pm

just a reminder that the hoops game this saturday is early b/c of football bowl TV scheduling. if anyone is interested, Lakewood's 1st & 10 will be opening early that day if you want to watch w/ other mustangs.

have a happy new year, and go ponies.

we need a good showing at tonight's game and the NYE game too - i have a feeling the attendance will be down w/ students on break, families on trips, etc.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I hope not. I would think everybody would have planned their holiday travel to be back for the game tonight. They should have if they didn't!

I fear you might be right though.

just being realistic. i know the folks on here are die-hards and probably do that, but just a fact that a lot of people aren't chomping at the bit to see Midwestern St. - the NYE game will be different i suspect.

these games will be similar to when we used to play a WAC/CUSA team over Thanksgiving in football.

With 50% of student the students from being from outside of Texas and the residence halls closed until January 11th, doubt there will be many students are back in town. Hopefully the students who live in Dallas decide to attend the game tonight.

There should be enough of the local students to fill the student sections, correct?

Hopefully, SMU figured out a way for the tickets for the holiday games to get to local students.

No. I was talking about tonights game and posted on the wrong thread. Now that I think about it though their student section could be a tad week.

Students behind SMU bench but nowhere else.

70-80% capacity. About like Wyoming.

Love 1st and 10 and if I grew up and decided to matriculate to Lakewood I would be there. As my condo is 200 feet from the MAT on Mckinney avenue, I will be watching there. I would encourage everyone near 1st and 10 to support that fine establishment. But if youre location challenged like me the MAT will be open early specifically for the game. Don't believe anything else in Uptown is open till 11am.
