And what is TCU's? Beating an Ole Miss team that lost to Charleston Southern? Or perhaps it was beating a Miss State team that also lost to South Carolina Upstate.
We can both play this game. Ole Miss also beat Oregon on the road. SMU went to OT with UCSB and I would argue has no real quality wins (Michigan on the road is decent. Wyoming has literally beaten no one.) Bottom line neither of us have proven anything yet. We certainly have a much tougher road ahead than you.

It will all shake out in March. We will have lapped TCU by then.

Reed - why do you say you have a much tougher road ahead? Big 12 basketball isn't very strong. Ut, Baylor then a pretty weak Kansas and that's about it. AAC has last yrs national champion plus cinn, Memphis, temple, and a rising Houston and Tulsa And of course the mighty Mustangs
Your road isn't that tough.

give TCU credit; they may have played a "soft" schedule, but they've won them all. Too many teams lose non-conference games they have no business losing. To argue the AAC is equal to or tougher than the Big XII is REALLY a stretch based on what we've seen in the pre-season, Maybe that was based on Temple taking Kansas apart? Bottom line is that we could both end up in the NIT and just might get to play each other before this is all over. We are both going to need really strong conference seasons to earn an at large bid

Kansas is really overrated. Uconn will rally back as will Memphis. Our roads aren't all that different.

I agree that KU is "overrated", but the roads are quite different. No knowledgeable basketball mind in the Universe will argue otherwise. I think the American has great potential, but this is a down year and you need to call a spade a spade. Even if you agree that the paths are different, how do you compare a 10 loss Big 12 record to a 3 loss AAC record? Will be very messy to compare so I'm not even going to try. Good luck figuring that one out!

Well said...the Big 12 is deep this year. Memphis and UConn may end up being stout but the bottom 5-6 in the American is not good.

Of the AAC top 5 I'd have UConn and Memphis ranked 4 & 5. I believe SMU, Temple and Cincy are in the top 3.
