Baylor choked big time. Deeply troubling and embarrasing. Tcu can now rightfully claim to be #5.

They certainly deserve to but does the panel choose the final standings? They may leave the final four in the top four and rank the others 5-25. Just a thought.

I assume there will be a final AP poll but not sure.

I think about 5 freakish events combined for a big comeback
The Facemask call
The Blocking in Back Call
The perfect catch from the blocked FG
The FG that hit the upright
Baylor Offense didn't have a final shot
those come quickly to mind. Maybe the Baylor Special Teams choked

Awesome season for TCU. They should have been in the tourney! I would like to have seen TCU vs. Oregon.

No TCU should not have been in the playoff. the 4 teams that made it in were all champions of a conference who had a championship game. TCU needed to run the table if they were only going to play 12 games. They didn't.

Soooo, a 1 loss "co-champion" or even champion in Big12 shouldn't be in the playoff if Marshall pulls off another 12 win season and wins their championship game because....they won a championship game? What about a 1 loss Big12 champion against a 2 loss SEC or Big10 championship game winner? Blanket statements absent defining information are lazy.
