Thats because if you live in the midwest you have to put up with that weather, plus there is nothing else to do. In Texas we just wait a day or so and it is great weather again - so why put up with misery?

Its all relative.

Whata bunch of pansies. Most B1G and a lot of other games are played in that type of weather from early Nov. on and you will see the stadiums filled. i.e. OSU v Wisc. in championship game - freezing cold with scattered showers and a little snow. Place was packed.

well, that's why we dont live there

I don't miss the snow and ice but if there was a game of interest that was played in that weather I wouldn't hesitate to go.

As a kid we used to love to play fball in the snow. Mud was even more fun, but those were the days when we didn't have much sense.

As you love to point out Stallion, that isn't butts in seats.

My buddy at the game said 10K at kickoff and about 3,500 at start of fourth quarter.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Yeah I know but if SMU was playing in that game with drizzling rain in the 30s we have evidence that most of the crowd would sit it out or be on the concourse out of the rain. UH brought a nice crowd to Ford I'm sure they would have been in Amon Carter (but I think they've played in that game about 4 times so maybe not)

Big 12 likely to go 1-6 in bowl competition. By far the worst of any P5 conference.

Let's hope that doesn't cause the conference to do something like add Memphis and Cincinnati.

UCLA 31, Kansas State 6 at the half.

Ridiculous.
