Me too. I'm at work in Richardson and everyone stood up really puzzled. I've gotta say that's the first time in my life I've felt tremors

Any fault line in the DFW area that has been disrupted by drilling or whatever can cause these. Just need to see how many faults are in the DFW area.

So whenever past tremors have happened where they weren't there before, that was caused by drilling activity? Even before there was drilling activity?

Humans always grossly overestimate their impact on everything. It is human nature.

You can't 100% rule out human activity. Well the people the try to cover up things do but all things should be on the table now. Nothing should be ruled out be in human or natural. What is needed is to find out how many fault line there are in the DFW area and how long the are at the point imo.

This last one was a 3.6. The one earlier was a 3.5.

I know in SoCal the buildings are now built with steel so they can bend. I'm sure most here are concrete and would have no chance in a sizable quake. We joke but a 5.0 or higher quake around here could be disastrous.

It's the no warning that freaks me out. I have no idea if bigger ones are possible here but the the thought scares me.

Thanks for the info...that was my concern.

Mom is over in Brookhaven, said this one knocked over her books on shelf. She is 87 and very mad at this. Her words:

"This is June's fault" (she has always been an SMU fan from her early days of working for Braniff in the late '40s)

I like it.

Farmers Branch. About 20 miles north of downtown Dallas.
