He had 280 yards rushing before sacks/ losses in parts of 8 games running an Air Raid Offense. 52 Total carries and believe he was sacked 15 times. Leaving about 280 yards on 37 non-sack carries for a nice 7.56 yards per carry. The fact he only ran 37 non-pass running plays in 8 games is pretty instructive-that's less than 5 carries a game probably once every 16-18 plays or so (educated guess based on 70-80 offensive plays per game). Its passing offense

BTW Matt Davis had only .72 more with 8.28 in yards rushing in non-loss/sack carries

as mentioned before, the issues with Hill were off the field, then became on the field prior to Alabama. He was viewed by some at A&M as being something less than a leader....tried the Johnny lifestyle without the production on the field, and then when he called others on their play, got his head handed to him by a few upperclassmen. His issues remain unresolved, and he would be a definite high risk/high reward to bring in. I say pass on him.

His dad is a professional athlete. I would gamble that he can get his act in order.

Even if he were to come, I wouldn't hand him the job, which will probably lead to him ultimately going elsewhere. He showed flashes of talent, but he also showed that he comes with major baggage. He clearly doesn't have the physical tools that someone like Garrett had, so he would be very hit or miss. Also, wouldn't you rather just build internally with Hicks and whoever else Morris may recruit down the road? If Hill were to transfer he would have to sit out a year. Assuming Hicks shows that he has the ability to play well next year, then why create the drama of a new guy coming in gunning for his job. Plus, if Hill ends up losing out to Hicks (assuming there's a competition), then all he is is unnecessary baggage who isn't even playing. He also clearly has issues that have ended up with A&M's apparently being fed up with him.

No evidence to suggest that he's coming here. It was just speculation from a tweet by EJ Holland that it looks like Hill is going to transfer from A&M and that the CM offense is a perfect fit for him and its close to him as he played hs ball in Southlake.

Ha! I did mention TCU. He'll be eligible to play the year after Boykin graduates. If he lands there that is a tremendous get for the Frogs.

His drunk-A will fit right in at TCU. Maybe the Pachalholic will coach him up.

Kenny Hill to TCU is NOT a done deal. Dad said they will consider other schools after Dead Period. TCU may not offer.
