Just throwing this out there but when I renewed my season tix I believed Mudiay was going to be on the team and the hype was monumental about this years team (which is why a bunch of people probably bought new tickets for the first time and they sold out so quickly). If we get players like Mudiay then I have no problem paying for the increased ticket prices. Now, if we are still not ranked after this year and miss the dance, without a top 20 MCDAA 1 and done coming in, I will definitely think twice about it. I really hope this team can put together a nice run and make it to the dance. If not, then the ticket prices (on the secondary market) will drop big time toward the end of the season and a lot of people will dump their season tix before next year. IMO from the moment I renewed my tickets, everything has been a disappointment from there. The buzz has died down considerably. Definitely still enough time to get it back though!
Yes, the buzz is tapering off now. Big East didn't happen, Louisville leaves, Mudiay didn't happen - just a bad series of events for the program. It's about supporting the school and who is going to PonyUp. Bad timing - in order to continue momentum and excitement, probably need to get in the tourney somehow. Last year 3 or 4 AAC teams were ranked including us.

Yeah Definitely, I'll probably renew no matter what for next year and I bet Brown and Co. get it turned back in the right direction quickly.

I thought the full allotment of student and staff tix were claimed before the break. You're only supposed to take the tickets you'll use or else risk not getting future tickets.
If all games aren't sold out, I can still organize a group at full price for the UH game in a couple weeks. However, those haven't been made available to students and staff yet.

not true if you grabbed a student ticket and dont use it you cant get tickets for the next game. That being said I doubt its a well attended game by the students. I'll be doing my part though. Will be sneaking in 4 students with me into the student section. (it's also bull that I have to sneak them in when its very obvious they are students and very obvious the student section has room)
