When I was at SMU, half my class cheated on the ethics final.

How do you know that?
Re: Dartmouth Ethics Cheating
Isn't it an honor code violation to NOT disclose cheating?

During the exam, people were obviously looking on other people's exams. It was so obvious that I was sure that they would be caught.
I was not aware that the honor code required turning people in.

Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: Dartmouth Ethics Cheating
When did we get an honor code? When I was there, some guys tried to cheat off me, so I changed the code on a multiple choice test: a=b, b=c, c=d, d=a. As I walked up I wrote that on the bottom of the paper saying I had prying eyes. I got an A, the cheaters, F's.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

We definitely had the Honor Code in the late '80's.
Since I didn't cheat, I didn't really pay attention to what it said.

Earliest reference I could find is in the 1972-73 student handbook - page 75:

Didn't you have to sign the front of the blue book that referenced the code or something?
