If it was anyone other than 94, I'd take a "nothing to see here until there's something to see here" perspective.

Now, I'm concerned.

The fact that Stephen A mentioned the NBA several times in their interview Wednesday on First Take makes me real nervous.

He will have plenty of options if he wants them - college or NBA. Unless there is some sort of investigation, in which that might rule out the college options.

Why perunas law? Ever good program deals with early departures and academic issues. If we weren't having these issues it would mean we suck.

What did Larry say about Keith in the post-game after Memphis?

Program is just building to be good, we are not there yet. This will knock us back a peg. As long as LB stays I am confident we will be fine. Just hoping this does not push him out. There is more to come.

Every good program deals with academic issues as in three players ineligible in one season, including two of the top three or four players on the team? Respectfully disagree - you just don't see this at any school truly committed to big time athletics.

I'm baffled how the administration lets this happen as many (like RGT) are dollars driven and I would expect this to have a SIGNIFICAT impact on dollars, not to even mention the loss of exposure (other than what's coming on the negative side).

Oh believe me, it's coming. The negative media reaction that is.

Posters here are right: the big time programs gain and lose pieces all the time. One-and-dones, transfers, academics, disciplinary issues. They all happen.

We just have to keep a sustainable program and a constant talent pipeline. We've never had that but it's coming.

Seriously: we have recruits and transfers committed a long way up the road…much longer than at any time in the past. Lose a Keith…gain a Shake. Lose a Marcus…gain a Semi or a Tolbert.

It happens.

It's just AWESOME being relevant. Right??

This thread represents the worst of SMU fans' battered wife syndrome. There has been no indication of keith leaving for any reason what-so-ever but we are are all still working our selves up into a full scale panic. If keith wants to play in the NBA he will do what it takes to stay academically eligible and put in at least 1 more year with LB who is clearly helping him improve his game. The coaches in Europe are good but they we about winning their games at all cost and not developing a player so that he can leave for the NBA.

If keith leaves after a good sophomore season to play in Europe good for him. It means he was a successful Colleges player. You want players that have the option to get paid to play before they are seniors. It means they are good players.
