How much responsibility should the athletes and coaches have? What's the minimum GPA? It's really hard to get a C in a lot of classes. Well, some might consider it hard to get up to a C but professors give out few of them. As a tutor at UH, I got a sense for some of these guys' grades. Most of their work is done in tutoring. Some athletes are really, really ill-prepared for college work (and some never will be) but there's a lot of help and oversight. Not sure where people fall through the cracks.
