Interesting how it has clawed its way through time into a form of relevancy....in my book, it remains irrelevant until ED is in. Kinda like the baseball HOF, where some writers conspire to make sure there is never a first-ballot unanimous selection.

The joke is, if they are keeping ED out due to questions of illegal recruiting and benefits but put in Ricky Williams with his transgressions, then forget about any fairness in the selections.

On top of that ... Tressel is a school President ... Youngstown State ... where he won 4 D1AA titles. If we started keeping college or NFL guys out of their respective HOF for roids or others chemical helpers (back in the day), it would be very empty. Although I was not a big "Boz" fan ... he was a beast. ED should be in ... he was good enough for the NFL HOF but not college yet ... yea right. I think two reasons ... yes the DP connection, and splitting time/carries with CJ IMO.

I don't think the NCAA runs the College Hall of Fame. Its run by the National Football Foundation. If the NCAA ran it I doubt Tressell could get in.
