Yes he received his first offer from SHST recently. He has been in contact and taken in games at Baylor (vs K State), OSU (cannot remember opponent), and TCU (vs Kansas I believe).

He was not able to attend camps last summer due to knee issues (very minor ones, no damage). Lack of camps relates to his offer list. About 210-220 lbs and runs a 4.62. Started varsity OLB as a soph and made all district honors. Very respectful and humble individual.

As far as I know SMU has not made contact but considering the recent local surge hopefully will soon. I'd still consider it a long shot though. The recent coaching change and mentality change has caught his attention.
