what would you know about the position? why are you so qualified in this area?
Me thinks you are either naïve, jesting and/or do not know anything about Ponyte. Think before posting something dumb.

Stop picking on illustrious alumni, and Lettermen... Think before you label someone as not knowing something when they have experience playing the game...

I'm open to being mistaken but I took this as quite obviously being jest since he was key on one of the most famous SMU plays of all time

Certianly there are times comments are made in jest. Certainly this was one and I realized it for that. On top of everythin, I played TE in a bygone era so what do I know now?

Has there ever been a thread devoted to greatest plays in SMU history? Assuming there has but I would find such a list interesting even though I was not around for the true glory days...

The athletic department put out a list of 100 greatest moments in SMI football history for SMUs 100th anniversary. It was a pretty bogus list and there was discussion here. No doubt with the collective memory of Ponyfans we could come up with s pretty damn good list. Not sure where "The Pitch" would rank. Mrydel probably knows, though.

Ponyte, you are correct that it was a joke. I'm glad you have a sense of humor. A few others need to lighten up, though.
