ESPN Conspiracy TheoryThe facts:
SMU = threat to UCONN BBall UCONN actively seeking P5 membership UCONN and ESPN in bed together (large number of UCONN Grads working at ESPN) NCAA essentially reports to ESPN Any of this remind you of previous events? A time where SMU became a threat to a historically legendary program in a sport and the media and NCAA jumped on board quickly to squash the threat? Expect ESPN and Media to sensationalize any infractions at SMU and to throw Larry Brown under the Bus. It has already started with this one... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/ncaa-investigation-shows-the-downside-of-smu-s-larry-brown-gambit-003017152.html "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryThey sure were quick to try and tie every possible negative about our program under LB together and then trace it back to what happened at Kansas nearly 30 years ago. Go 'Stangs, Beat ECU!
#Beat Clemson
Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryBus would never do anything to hurt LB. He probably wouldn't even throw a shoe at him!
Derail the Frogs!
Re: ESPN Conspiracy Theory
You're crazy if you think ESPN Is in bed with UConn. They are actually the opposite. Over the last several years they have done a lot to hurt UConn and their chance to get to a P5.
Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryRidiculous ESPN reporting ! Hiring Brown produced "predictable NCAA trouble"! How prejudiced is that?
Long live Inez Perez!
Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryIf ESPN wanted UConn P5 they would have them in the ACC already.
Shake It Off Moody
Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryHow about ESPN president John Skipper being a UNC alum?
Re: ESPN Conspiracy Theorywriter suggests we coaxed LB out of retirement...presumably so he could come to SMU and show us how they cheated at UNC? Well, at least we are in the national news again
Re: ESPN Conspiracy TheoryIt's a good setup for them to hammer us in place of UNC
"I think Couchem is right."
