I can vouch for that. I stopped growing taller during my sophomore year at SMU. As for my girth .... I'm still waiting for that growth to stop.

Sorry, but he looked to me like he would make a great DT.

Ditto on the DT comment. I do not like to mention names but he was talked about in that position as even being able to play DT this year IF there was a bad injury.
Quick, Strong. One thing was to shorten the steps while close to the line to get more stability. That all says DT to me.

I was looking at the CUSA chat room and they asked how many committments each school had. Several CUSA schools only had 2-3 committments. Perhaps, this year the big programs are leaving kids dangling longer, and they are slower to committ to the smaller Div. 1-A programs. Looking at some of the chatter on this line about this player and that player having OSU, UT, A&M and GA on their list and us, could very well mean that they end up here. Do I like getting their leftovers, NO, but that may be the reality this year for many mid-major programs.

Careful -- you'll get jumped on for suggesting that all is not lost.

Lankford also was measured at 6-3 last year so I bet the logical conclusion is that you lie about your height. The SMU roster is laughable-they also have Tony Eckert at 6-2.

Oh God, RIVALS.COM listed Enright @ 6ft. Take his scholarship!

Sorry. Stallion, but I met Mitch at the beginning of practice back in Aug. & he's pretty damn close to his 6'2" size.

I saw some of the freshmen on the sideline when I came up to Dallas for home games. I think part of the deception in the height estimates is that Enright and Lankford have very different physiques. Enright is built like a lineman -- sort of barrel-shaped and thick. Lankford is bigger, but leaner -- if he ever bulks up to the point that he has the same proportionate shape that Enright has, you're going to be looking at a real monster. (And speaking of real monsters, #70 Allison is huge! And #72 Nigh is a little leaner, but he also looks like he's got the frame to grow into a beast. Nice prospects for future offensive linemen, at least physically.)
