ECU stinks, but other than UNC destroying them at the beginning of the season, no one has beat them by a greater margin. We are beating teams by a greater margin than almost all in AAC, and separating the doubters from their excuses. Success in the conference tourny and last year's tournament omission will be a distant memory.

First two points of the game on a jumper by Manual. I wonder what the Vegas odds would have been on that. He gad a very good game.

Ben E's shot looks good - it is just always about an inch too long. When he gets it fixed i think he will hit 10 in a row.

He needs to shoot an inch shorter.

Does every SMU fan have to be white and douchie?

No, seriously. I was at the game and there were about 20 Asian men all dressed very similarly (blue sport coats, etc.) sitting directly behind our bench. I am guessing it was related to our team somehow and it was definitely an organized function. I was just genuinely wondering who they were. I'm not sure that makes me douchie, but I appreciate you taking the time to be a tool about it.

Serious praise from Chuck Cooperstein.

@coopmavs: 1st time inside Moody since the re-do. A fantastic place to watch hoops is better than ever. #PonyUp #DoingItRight http://t.co/tnUVH1jDbh

How is that only his first time? A little disappointing.

Anyway, In the second half, they kicked up the music louder and the crowd exploded when Wilfong dunked.

I think there is something to be said for Ben E and Sterling getting minutes and really upping the defensive intensity. The defensive intensity is what got the crowd into it and it kept going in the second half. Amping the music up kept everyone standing, clapping, and engaged. Second half was the best atmosphere this season.

As well as we pass the ball and as quickly as we moved it in the second half, I think even Syracuse would have to go man on us. We destroyed that zone.

You assume that a group of Asian students couldn't just be fans or students of SMU and I'm the tool? There was a group of African American twenty something's in the section next to me, anyone know why they were there?? Who were they??

Well that escalated quickly. Were you at the game? Did you see who I was talking about? They were all dressed identically. Navy sport coats, same shoes, in the premium seats directly behind our bench. I guess it really doesn't matter. I thought maybe it was some kind of interesting basketball exchange program, but I guess it could have have been an all male Asian student association who decided to attend the game in identical clothes and sit right behind our bench where the recruits usually sit. No offense intended to anyone, and I apologize for being douchie.
