Today's game

Postby RedBlueSMU » Sat Jan 17, 2015 3:26 pm

3 o'clock can't get here soon enough. I'm just ready to focus on something good for two hours instead of this garbage we've had to deal with the last 24 hours. #PonyUp

Sick of excuse after excuse. School started yesterday.

Seriously SMU? Seven cheerleaders (four dudes???) and no poms? WTF?

If it is some sort of Greek BS then get [deleted] coordinated.

I am sick of SMU mailing it in when every game I see on TV has a full spirit squad turnout and doesn't have an entire student section empty.

I really felt terrible for the team today on a day when they really needed full support.

our school is 50% greek - they have to get their rush stuff done the week before everyone is back - and it is all day and all night until it is over.

Not that big a deal - it was a dog meat opponent. We will see the entire crew back at the next him game.

The crowd really, really surprised me. As the teams were finishing warmups, with like 3 minutes left to tip, there were about 1500 people in attendance. All of a sudden, poof, the place starts filling up. My section was pretty barren at tip, but after 5 minutes, it was relatively full.

The second half, the crowd was really into it. Best atmosphere this year.

For those bashing on the Mob, there were some free keith towels, and with like 2 minutes left they started chanting "free Keith Frazier".

Why would you chant this? Kid couldn't pass 6 hours in a semester...why would you cheer for him? I seriously don't get it.
