Opening Video

I guess we are not going to update the highlights to have footage from this year?????????

How about adding Wilfong's dunk?

Might have to edit it soon anyway for other reasons.

I brought two friends in town from Iowa to the game yesterday. First time at Moody for both of them. They enjoyed the beer and were thoroughly impressed with everything from the Mustangs' performance on the court to the game presentation to the atmosphere in Moody. After the intro video, one of them told me "that was the most badass intro video I've ever seen." I didn't mention that it has not been well received by our fans this year or that last year's was better. Just some perspective for those of us who don't like it. :D

needs a complete overhaul. Doesn't excite anyone in the crowd and totally boring.

I've only seen this year's video online (same as last year's) but thought it was pretty good. The biggest problem, to me, is that it takes a little too long to get to the action (highlights). Going a step further, an intro video has to be updated at least weekly once the season gets going so that the highlights used can be switched up - fans aren't going to keep getting fired up by the same highlights every single time.

Lack of reaction is a symptom of the overall calmer vibe in moody. Last year's video would be no different. If they used a similar one to last year all the posts would be "it's stale. Need a new idea. Doesn't excite anyone anymore"
"I think Couchem is right."

Marcus wasn't in it until he became eligible.

Whatever happened to the smoke things from last year that would go off during introductions?

Ha - I forgot about those.

I am kind of glad they are gone since they failed more often than they worked.

Hah very true. I feel like we are in need of something extra though...it's so quiet. Fire on top of the shot clock.
