The Memphis message board ought to be comedy gold again tonight. ![]()

Just ahead of our orange friends in Austin. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)actually I think this game may show we are more stable at Guard without Keith. Sterling is a calming influence on the team and Manual and Brown may make Moore better. Moore is protecting the ball much better when Brown is in there. Turnovers are WAY WAY down since Brown has started

Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)
Good observation. I do worry about the depth but the "new" lineup is a bit more reserved for sure. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)Tulane just proved you can't out-grind the SMU grinders
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)This was a great game for us. Defended the 3 ball for the most part very well. I felt there was a lot of missed foul calls against our bigs and there were several questionable ones. At Moody, we beat Tulane by 25.
It's us and Tulsa, boys, if we keep playing like this.(well, UConn is still out there and I'm waiting for them to go on a tear). Something tells me that last game of the season against Tulsa (AT MOODY) will be a special one. Until then, just keep winning and advancing any way you can. And, for the comment about us not having 3 pt shooters and playing zone against us all day . . . did you not watch the ECU game? Now I know ECU is terrible, but we put on an absolute clinic on how to beat the zone with our bigs setting up camp at the free throw line and great passing inside out. You beat a zone by great interior passing and dribble penetration. We have that. Win out at Moody now, and I like our chances to win this thing (and don't slip up on the road against the bottom feeders). And, it's important to win (or at least come in second in regular season), so we get a high seed for AAC tourney.
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)I'll add that Ryan has really improved his ball handling this year.
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)Both Bens have to start playing better.

Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)
This. And, imagine if Ben Moore actually decides to show up and play.
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)Only 9 TO on 18 assists and 22 FG. We also played great defensively. Really solid road game.
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)
I would LOVE to face them in the tourney. I'd fly out to anywhere to see that and pay for anyone else who'd join me if they promise to be rowdy as hell! ![]()
Re: Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)
He is terrible.
Official SMU vs. Holy Hand Grenades (Tulane)Only bad part about this game was Emelogu. Everything else was quite nice. Second half was never really close.
