Un-freaking-real.
2016 and beyond is going to be sick
QB Ben Hicks
RB - not sure yet
WR Kevin Thomas
WR James Proche
WR Xavier Castille
WR Alex Honey
TE Hunter Herndon
Let that sink in. If we can somehow land a premier RB either in recruiting or transfer then we are set at the skill positions for the next several years.

This is serious, we can make you delirious,
you should have a healthy fear of us, 'cause too much of us is dangerous,
so dangerous we dangerous...
This new WR group is dangerous, and it might not be done.
Nothing would round out this group better than a big RB commit...it only makes sense. So who will it be?

if only charles west... now I am being greedy. I think we deserve the right to be at SMU considering what we have put up withStallionsModelT wrote:Un-freaking-real.

Re: Boom...Xavier Castille!
Stupid question... at 5'11 and 195 lbs with 4.43 speed... why isn't he a RB?

Re: Boom...Xavier Castille!
quite frankly-probably because Rockwall's RB Chris Warren is a top national recruit-but SMU will get the ball in his hands in a lot of ways

Probably because he has good hands. And in a spread they get the ball to there play makers away regardless of where they are on the field..SMUstangs22 wrote:Stupid question... at 5'11 and 195 lbs with 4.43 speed... why isn't he a RB?

It would be nice have a few blocker so the qb has time to throw to all the receiver that are being recruited. I think we have about 5 ships left be nice to get 2 interior olmen that can block and 3 dlmen that can rush a qb and stop the run.

Re: Boom...Xavier Castille!
We didn't have any playmakers last year on offense outside of Matt Davis. I agree we need help on the offensive line, but I guess a silver lining would be that we return all 5 starters from last year's unit. Hopefully that experience combined with the new staff will yield better results. I actually think Evan Brown and Taylor Lasecki are pretty nice players. I don't know what to make of Briggs. He seemed like a June project to me. That said he has started quite a few games for us over the past few years.
Back off Warchild seriously.
