New Traditions

Think we'll see HCCM introduce something like this? Of course, it works in a stadium with more than 2,000 in attendance for a game we have a chance to win.

I heard the first new tradition he wants to introduce is winning.

Yeah, that might be confusing to some.

Maybe if the team leaves and comes back between the first and second quarter - when there are some people in the stadium. Our fans don't do the opening kick-off.... we're fashionably late or fashionably busy doing something else.

They should drive busses by the Boulevard to take fans into the stadium.

That would be great. Also need a Whataburger walk-up window on that little patch of land adjacent to la Madeleine. Need some SMU/Whataburger love.

Whataburger Field is in Corpus Christi. I propose something even more radical: GJF Stadium at the Whataburger Football Complex. Soon to be inclusive of XYZ Indoor Practice Field at Whataburger Football Complex

The bus ride Clemson does is one of the dumbest things in college football.
Howard's Rock w/the balloons? That's awesome.

I will settle for watching a winner, no contrived traditions necessary.

First and easiest tradition of the HCCM: Get a permanent Whataburger stand at Ford.

spoken like either a Clemson hater or a guy who has never been there to experience it. It's pretty special but agree it's unique to Clemson and can't really be duplicated. Several schools have "the walk" and SMU team walking across Doak Plaza would be a natural other than the fact nobody would be there to witness the walk. Hard for me to imagine the day SMU fans have the same passion that you see at more tradition rich programs. I hope I live to see that day.

Yes and I write a check every year to pay for a section of seats we sponsor. You guys let me know if there's a Hooks game for which you'd like to take a group and enjoy the 'elite seats'
