the best recruiters are lucky to be right 50% of the time. That's why I want both West and Jones but:

Jones played at a much higher level of competition-they played schools like Lake Travis, Westfield, Waco Midway (QB Hicks) The Klein schools etc). One of the tougher Districts in Texas-3 opponents ended with 13(Westfield) , 11 and 11 wins and they also played Westfield in playoffs)
Jones had much better speed and quickness than Dieter
You project talent to the next level
Dieter was a high school all-star whose talent projects to a possession receiver in the MAC-I never was on the Dieter bandwagon at least to the extent a Parade All-American would suggest. Dieter had 1 TD at SMU and 1 TD at Bowling green=Possession Receiver

Morris is doing all he can to shore up what is his specialty in my opinion for this class and that is get as many top skill guys on offense as he can. I am sure he will address the defense more intensely next year. That is not to say he isn't trying to get defenders this year by no means.

I wonder what the deal is with Jones. It's not like Spring is a hidden school that nobody knows about. Plenty of the recruiting services and coaches had tape on the guy. He looks fantastic in those videos.
