He was dean for 15 years! What an embarrassment now. Can't believe he's still teaching a class. Pretty sure because he was the offered to be dean of any other law school.

This is the biggest issue I have with Turner. There Gould be a limit of deans amd presidents. I don't know of any top school with a president with as long a tenure as turner has at SMU, or any dean of a top business school as long as niemi has been on. We need new blood amd new leadership to make sure we're not stale and standing pat.

The law school dean was a joke. No reason smu law should not be ranked top 25. Same goes for the full time program at cox. Look what rice has done and they have not had a business program nearly as long.

He was a sh*tty dean. Shouldn't have been allowed to linger nearly as long as he did. Never felt more mistreated as an alum than whenever I interacted with the law school.
