Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)
That view from I75 coming down the cut in the hill looking at Cinci from Northern KY is one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen. OTR is becoming a really amazing place. Lots of good vision by some folks. Great restaurant's and one of the best city parks anywhere. I love when I can head down there for a day. All of the work done on the Banks along the river make it a great place also.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)With our ranking I bet Cincy comes out and plays use very hard. We have to execute better than our last two games to win this one.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)Mrs CP and I have made that drive north on I-75 down the hill into Cincy many, many times as we head to Michigan to visit her family. Definitely a nice view, especially at night. We've never stopped and spent any time along the river there, but I'm always distracted driving by major league stadiums and that's a nice set up Cincy has with the stadiums along the riverfront.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)\ Let me know next time you all passing through and I will treat you and Mrs. CP to a lunch over at the Morlein Brewery on the river. Great views and good food. No Skyline, I promise.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)Here's the deal with this Cincy game. We can't start out slow. If you've noticed the pattern, we start slow with a starting lineup and then kick it into gear with the "second lineup" with MK and CC coming in at about the 12 minute mark. By then, most teams just can't hang with that size and get worn out by about the 15 minute mark of the second half and you see us just annihilate teams there on out because their defenses just can't keep up (even all those 3s teams jack up against us, they just can't close the gap seriously enough ala Tulane, Houston, UCF, USF). Now, with Cincy, their defense is most likely not going to allow that so we need to come out fast and go up big early. We can't expect a late second half run necessarily to win it for us (like at Temple - it didn't happen at Cincy . . . primarily because their defense is just too stout).
I'll say this: if we are up 6-10 with about 10-12 to go that would be a good look. Get down or have to go blow to blow and that last 5 minutes is going to give me a heart attack. They won't give up all those easy buckets/bunnies/wide open 3s most teams have the last 15-16 games. And I definitely agree with ponyte. Cincy is a desperate team and will come out with hair on fire. We need Moody to exceed their energy and our guys will follow suit. Pony Up!!
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)Do we see a change in the starting lineup this week?

If it ain't broke...
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)
I agree. But it seems hard to justify not starting the PotW.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Skyline Chili (Cinci)
I move that those six tickets be reserved for posters here unhappy with MOB performance. I will provide the whips and bullhorns. Party at The Wopper!
