Got a spot for another RB this cycle? (2015 Mr. Football SC)

Post by CUPonyUp »

Apparently the snake at Louisville just asked Matt Colburn, Mr. Football in South Carolina this year, to greyshirt for this cycle. Similar to what happened with Chason Virgil and Miss. St. 2 days before Signing Day. What a joke.

I wonder if Coach Morris gives him a call...

Last time Petrino did this we ended up with Daniel Gresham.

Ht:5'8"
Wt:186 lbs
40:4.36 secs
Shuttle:4.2

We already have two RBs in the class of similar size, but that speed is hard to ignore. Would be great to prosper again from Petrino's greed, but at a risk of burning some bridges.

The 40 might be exaggerated a bit, but the kid is a hell of a player. Put up huge numbers his whole career against some of the best competition in SC (not Texas HSFB mind you, but still solid)

Just hate to see this happen to the kid, as by all accounts he's a great kid. Trash move by Petrino but that doesn't surprise me anymore.

Eh, I couldn't tell you but from having seen him in person once, and watching his tape, he's definitely got wheels. The thing I love about Colburn is he's an APB, and can outrun you, but he's not afraid to run you over either. He's got some bulk to him.

Too bad SMU won't have the room (most likely). I saw where Coach Stepp follows him on Twitter, but that might have been from when he was @ App. St.
