There are many here who are offended that you might expect something similar from the MOB. They are working very [deleted] their role...and many are working exceptionally [deleted] figuring out what this basketball thing is they are watching and why it is acceptable for others in attendance to yell when they are trying to concentrate on their phones and taking selfies.

just think of the selfies they could take though..or the texts they could send "hey check out ESPN I'm on TV I'll wave when I'm jumping up and down!"

Love Moody. Love, love, love it. NOW, having said that:

I sat up in the 200s (thanks lwjr!!!) and I felt very removed from the student section (and red seats in general). Heck, I couldn't even SEE the Mob from where I was sitting. It was very quiet for the most part up where I was and I felt very awkward getting rowdy (didn't stop me though) -- surrounded by very quiet blue hairs although there were a few cool folks behind me (2 students and then a few I went to school with - not gray hairs, but let's say gray "highlights"). So the layout of Moody sometimes makes it hard to get too rowdy when you're way up there and feel SO removed from the action. Having said that, the quiet blue hairs don't help - they never really complained to me but I could tell they were annoyed at times (I wasn't saying anything obscene). I think the issue is that the "blue hairs" (who we should be thankful for) are more bball "purists" (more in line with "The Hoosiers" generation and probably the ones LB loves) but just suck at being rowdy fans at a college bball game. I think we should do seating by age (students down in red, under 40 surrounding them, over 50 up top). :-)

Do you plan on no longer being rowdy when your hair turns blue? Do not use that broad of a brush. Some of we old guys were appointed by God to embarrass our children.

No, my hair is already blue-ing. :-)

My point is that if your hair is blue now (I'm thinking over 65), you are from a different generation and are used to a different college bball culture that has developed over the last 20 years ish.

I'm stereotyping, I know.

The music is already too loud . . well, ALMOST - it seems to be getting louder. :-)

The "re-seating" of Moody is only going to make it worse....

The Gonzaga student section is very impressive. I've got a ton of respect for that program.

BTW, their total enrollment is less than SMU - 4,896 undergrad, 2,795 grad.

When is the "re-seating" you refer to taking place?

My current roommate went to Gonzaga and says there is literally NOTHING else to do in Spokane, especially once it gets cold.
