Looks like Morris recruited some players he will not have to coach up as much as in the past.

Most of the guys on PF would have been happy if Coach Morris had simply given offers to the entire senior class on the Highland Park football team and just signed them.

Enjoyed reading the bios. Ben Hicks was such a huge steal, along with many of these other guys. Chad and Co. are really doing such a great job at selling SMU and its potential. Can't believe we have already beat out some perennial powerhouses for recruits (e.g. Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan). Hope to capitalize on this momentum with some early verbal commitments for 2016.

Kauffman and McNeil (both June guys), and that's it.SMU21TCU10 wrote:When was the last time nearly all of our recruits had another offer? I think I only saw two players that didnt

But we love Kaufman though. I believe he and his coach told the recruiting schools not to offer since he wanted SMU's offer. Re: SID's signing Day Packet
I'm not sure how reliable the Florida or Michigan offer is (Ben Hicks). None of the recruiting services (Rivals, 247, or Scout) cite either.S....M....U wrote:Enjoyed reading the bios. Morris talked about it, and I believe him.

9000 x better than June's which was mostly "uh yeah, we got some good kids, any questions?"stangsup4 wrote:Morris is killing this presser right now.
and then just referring to everyone as "this kid" and "that Lamar kid".
