Here's what's weird: I think we'll have a tougher time getting INTO the tourney than making a deep run IN the tourney.
Let's get in first. If we get in, there will be a loud screaming and shouting coming from the general southwest Austin, TX, area.

Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMUThis was placed last September. Not sure if the Mudiay to China news was out yet...
And there were only seven teams with better odds than us.
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMUi took them at 25-1 last year after mudiay committed. oh well, at least i can still win something.
Derail the Frogs!
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMUWhen I was there in October, different places had wildly different odds. Saw anywhere between 20 (I think that was the Palazzo) and 75 to 1 (Harrah's) -- but we were on the board, and not just in the field, everywhere. If we win the National Championship, and I don't die of heart attack immediately after that happens (assuming I survive the shock of making the Final Four), then my small investment will pay cover the increased per seat donation, and then some.
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMU
Mudiay to China news broke in July.
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMUI heard 125-1 last weekend.
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMU
I would probably take those Odds if they are still offered. We are a long shot to win the tournament but we have to have better than less than 1% chance.
Re: Experts' short list for Final Four - SMUSomeone posted that on another site. Definitely worth a couple tenners.
