To be that insane idiot...UCONN lost 2 to a highly competitive SMU team that was inconsistent OOC, and then got hot and won the NCAA tournament. Just saying....saying...saying there's a chance.

LB didn't get schooled. We couldn't run a [deleted] 3 on 1 fast break without throwing a lazy pass straight to their only defender...multiple times. This team played sloppy as hell in the 2nd half, and was completely unable to finish the point in the 1st half. The players did this to themselves.

He did a terrible job game planning for this game, non adaptive in every way. Only way Cincinnati can score is if Caupain or Cobb shoot well. So what does he tell our players to do? Collapse on every post dribble and over help consistently.

They shot 50+% from 3!!!

SMU bigs simply got out played. They were out rebounded and could not make any shots around the basket. Cincy bigs were better defensively, blocked out better and were more aggressive rebounding.

Amazingly, teams lose sometimes. Happens. They just have to learn from it. Issue is that this game was defined by mental mistakes as well as the inability to react to Cincinnati. Cincinnati collapsed inside and the ball stayed inside. Ball movement looked like it was happening for the sake of ball movement, not with the purpose of setting up mismatches and creating open looks. Just a mentally weak game, where they were still in it with under 10 to go and then were both mentally and physically beaten. Have to learn from this.

Our bigs played well but we only have one outside shooter in Mic and that cost us. Cincy's has good bigs and more than one outside shooter.
