The only team we beat last year was UConn and they are not on our schedule for this coming season. So with a bunch of players that are not that talented coming back and a bunch of freshman learning college football this it could be anywhere from 0 to 4 wins imo. HCCM is going to need a couple of year to turn the mess JJ left him around.

considering you don't know what teams are on the schedule I'd say you are not qualified to give a predicition.

I'm really interested to see how the 4-2-5 does against Navy. I think the corners have to be able to tackle on the outside.

The Baylor and TCU games might set a record for the number of combined possessions.

I predict the culture changes dramatically, our S&C coach is a drastic improvement, and our current head coach is 10x better than our unemployed former head coach.

Does this mean we get to play year two over again?

Pass

Other than a couple of OLine positions and maybe a few Secondary positions I don't even think it is possible to confidently predict who is going to start at a particular position. There has never been this many starting positions up for grabs in the spring and fall. I could name a few more who I think might start somewhere but not sure where

I would think Yenga starts at one of the LB spots. Wood defintiely on the DL, Gentry as well. Minor if his head is in the right place.

Offensively, I think Lasecki, Briggs, and Weeks (hopefully at guard, not tackle) will all start week 1 vs Baylor

3-9 or 5-7 would be a huge improvement imo.

As long as the team looks like an actual team and we see actual coaching, I'll be happy. As some have said, it's going to take a while for Morris to turn this mess around.

It is way too early to have a clue on what the team will do next year. We don't even know what positions the guys will be playing. In addition, I believe that the team was in a depressive state most of last year. Had the spirits been higher SMU would have won at least one more game and possibly more. I also believe Morris will have these kids believing they will win. But, how well will the Jrs and Srs fit with the program Morris is bringing to SMU? Who will be playing qb? How will the OL preform? Can they pull and block with the precision needed to win games? What about the DL? Who is going to start in the DL? Guys there's just too many 'if, ands and buts' to make any kind of logical guess. THAT BEING SAID, lets surprise everyone and WIN the conference!!!

Re: Navy

I can't understand why cut-blocking is legal. I know the service academies usually have smaller guys than their opponents, but all that technique can do is injure players.
