Favorite moment of The SMU v. Cincy BB game

Postby freqz » Fri Feb 06, 2015 9:15 am

(yes I know this is on the FB board, bear with me)

Timeout...Moody is jumpin'

Announcer: "Please welcome to the Moody Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys Jason Garret!"

Crowd: *applause*

Announcer: "And Tony Romo"

Crowd: *applause, general cheering*

Announcer: "And Demarco Murrary"

Crowd: *More of the same*

Announcer: "And the new head coach of your SMU Mustangs, Chad Morris!"

Crowd: *absolutely erupts*

I think HCCM is making an impression. :D
Texas bites. Baylor sucks. As it was in the beginning, is now, and evermore shall be. Amen.

I hope they can somehow come out and support our football team. Maybe at the Spring Game. Funny that Garrett and Romo and Murray were there and where is Beasley, the most popular SMU alum on the Cowboys team?!? Dude should be wearing SMU gear everywhere. He and Sanders don't really promote SMU much - I've seen Morestead promoting SMU more. (Beasley's a weird dude just in general).

My dream: HCCM gets us into a P5 conference within 5 years and the playoffs in 7 and then becomes the next cowboys head coach! :-)

Did anyone else see Chad Morris explaining/demonstrating the "Pony Ears" to DeMarco Murray? Amusing moment.

Sanders promotes SMU on Twitter. He may live in Denver now or spend a lot of offseason time there now and not be able to come back to SMU for bball games like the Cowboy guys too. I saw on Twitter that Chris Banjo, Richard Crawford, and Stering Moore were also at the game last night. That's cool.

Oh, and Cole Beasley is trash.

Beasley is resentful of the school firing his beloved Jones . He bought into the mantra that the team's inadequacies were due to the administration and fan base and not Jones shortcomings as a coach

Sanders has been quite supportive. He's going to stop by campus and speak with the WR corp within the next couple of weeks. Appreciate him coming home and meeting with the staff and team.

Yep. I think he has a lot more going on than a lot of our other former players; even the others in the NFL.

Maybe they don't like to hang with the Beas and did not invite him.

Several SMU-to-NFL players, including Beasley, have worked out together at SMU recently.

You can catch more fly's with sugar. We need Cole and anyone else with visibility, or a platform, to help the program.
