Not sure if this got posted from the ESPN write up:

SMU: Following a 62-54 home loss to Cincinnati, Moreira texted coach Larry Brown to tell him that the players would be bringing a much higher level of effort and intensity to the Tulsa game. "He had a great game and Nic was just fantastic," Brown said. "Tonight we really finished in the paint."

Roy, Sharon, and their boy, Raymond Mercer.

I've always thought OKC and Tulsa were very nice places. They certainly are not Dallas, but that doesn't mean they are bad cities.

There is more to New Jersey than the NY Metro area population that I assume you are referring to. Living in a place so congested tends to make people rude. I could compare Dallas to some of the smaller cities I've lived in and say the same thing about people in Dallas.

come on….I know there are nice parts of NJ, but on whole the people there are pretty brain-dead crude jerks. Ever spent any time there? Its awful, until you get out into the country.

I've met a lot of nice people from Jersey. Snookie gives the place a bad name.

When I get congested I sometimes get rude.

And..I just sent my brother back from a weekend here to his home in New Jersey. He is neither brain dead nor crude…...but he DID go to Syracuse

From the DMN write up:

Chants of “S-M-U” rang from the section behind the Mustangs’ bench. The large group of red-clad fans stood for much of the second half...“I didn’t know what school I was at for a minute,” SMU coach Larry Brown said. “For us to see a crowd like that on the road was great. You wouldn’t have seen that a couple years ago. We’ve come a long way.”
