Anyone thinking those money makers are going to go away is nuts. The same goes to the Big 12 fools who think the rest of the conferences will make it ok to have a championship game with less than 12 teams.

16 conferences. 8 teams each Each team plays 7 conference games and 5 OOCs. No conference playoffs. 4weeks of playoffs. Bowls rotate games.

There would be more TV money than even UT ever dreamed about and more kids would be participating at the highest level. Of course this idea is crazy because the entrenched few are afraid of anything that upsets their very lucrative apple carts.

Playoff will go to eight when the current contract is up (I think it's like eight years)

7 games, so all six of the current NY6 bowls would be quarter/semifinal games and then the National Championship Game would rotate each year

True. Should be 8. Shockingly, adding an additional game in there is not going to impact anyone negatively...especially since the kids are getting paid now.

The conspiracy theorist in me, thinks that ESPN wants to get another conference championship game in its quivver, and won't agree to expand until the Big XII gets to 12 teams. Easy add, SMU, gutsy add would be BYU. ND is now tied to ACC for non-revenue sports, so its off the table. If the PAC was smart they would add BYU and us and block the Big XII, so they'd have to add someone like Cincy, Memphis, Tulane or Tulsa.
