I hope they don't use that Nic celebration after the 3 as motivation, I cringed a little after that. All for celebrating, having fun, but that was kind of excessive showing off at that point.

yes - but that is just basketball. If they don't like it thats tough. I like that our guys have fun playing - that is a really good sign.

They are welcome to disallow Nic from making 3 pointers in a couple of weeks.

Totally disagree. That is your opinion and I think it is dead wrong. That was probably one of the most emotional moments of the year and Nic was just being spontaneous. I guess we better not get too pumped up about anything so you won't cringe. What UConn better use as motivation is not making the tournament not what Nic did. Glad to see the positive emotional from Nic.

Bunch whining jackas*es. You got drilled on the road. By a better team that was better prepared. Accept it like your coach and star guard.

Not sure what all of the biatching is about fouls. There were a couple of bad calls but that is pretty normal. UConn only had two more fouls that SMU for the game. Two of our starters also had fouls.

lol, look celebrating is fine after a big shot like that, but one could argue Nic deserved a technical for how drawn out his celebration was there, that's all I was really worried about..

If someone busted out that kind of celebration against us after pulling up for a transition 3 in a blowout, we'd all have been pissed, I'd have probably thrown something at my TV

I might think the player is a jerk but I would be more upset with my own team being so pathetic. In all honesty, I probably would not have seen the three or the celebration, I would have tuned out before that.

No, you are probably one of the ones making that silly agreement that he deserves a tech. I guess you are thinking more NFL post touchdown celebration penalty or something silly like that. I have seen people celebrate more than that and not get t'd up. Now you are acting like the stereotypical SMU blue hair. And you were worried about UConn using that as motivation so apparently you were worried about more than a technical. So get off Nic's back.
