There is a 0% chance that is the worst thing Kevin Ollie (or his dad) has heard chanted in his direction. Very strange. I'd be embarrassed if I was him.

Is there a joke of a failed marriage hidden in there or something? I'm not familiar enough with Kevin Ollie's love life to understand the joke here.

Ollie's wife filed for divorce last month: http://www.courant.com/java/hc-kevin-ollies-wife-files-for-divorce-20150101-story.htmlNo, I don't follow his love life, I just googled "kevin ollie divorce" to see what turned up. Still pretty funny from the student IMO.

We've been picking on The Mob all season... who knew one of them took the time to do some research on what Ollie has been up to lately, lol.

Ha! That's great! Not that he's getting divorced, but the chant in general. Like you said, kudos for doing the research! That being said, if we have many more Valentine's Day night games, I might be joining him...

Ok, given the context I wasn't previously aware of, that's pretty solid. Classless in an every day situation, but perfect coming from a rowdy student section. I'm glad I'm not any sort of public figure.

Not sure a marriage breakup is appropriate material to use.

In 1988 when we played NC State, we sat right behind their bench and entire section held up our keys and shook them at Chucky Brown who you may remember was involved in stealing cars, claimed he couldn't find his keys, etc. Then we chanted Chucky we have your keys. Coach Valvano didn't miss a beat and turned around and told us "That's really a good one" then said "I don't think Chucky ever found his keys." I'll never ever forget that. He certainly wasn't worried about some students saying something, these guys need to grow a pair.

Student sections in College Basketball are a lot like South Park. Everyone should realize that student sections cross the line on a regular basis, a lot like South Park. I'd figure by now that these kinds of stories wouldn't shock anyone, just like how nothing controversial on South Park surprises anybody anymore. Speaking of South Park, I saw that my Mr. Mackey and MK sign made it to the front of The Mob during the game...

Nothing wrong with that line from the student section... you had to know the context to be upset by it, which makes it very funny. I'm impressed, actually.

I remember a TCU game in the late 90s where a couple of "red Seat" (then Blue Seat, $$ seat) older alums showed up with a Texas Criminal University sign and they were both dressed as convicts in the striped jumpers.
This was around the time of Lee Nailon and in the day when students really did not show up at these games to a great extent.
Perhaps those alums are even on this board...

If it got Ollie off his game or his team off theirs, good job. This game is not for the faint at heart. Living in ACC territory, Duke fans are notorious for this sort of chant. Trash talk happens. I'm sure we've had worse chants aimed at us.
