Oh come on. You know if we are forced to we will come up with the $$$ to make the necessary splash hire.

SMU being good in hoops is about commitment to program. That's what made us get Larry brown and why we hired the staff we did. Show that commitment next go around and we'll see similar results.

It will also be easier next time since we will at least have some skins on the wall.

But, on to Temple.

Go Mustangs!

SMU is the favorite school of the Football and Basketball College Coaching Associations-the word is out SMU will bend the coaching pay scale. Its no secret.

We are committed to basketball It has changed our entire university Keep a solid coach and two top national recruiters and there is no reason we can't keep it going.

Interesting to hear you say this. How so? Was in school in the mid to late 2000s and athletics was an afterthought, obviously, to pretty much everyone.

I was at that game. It was one of our "turnover fests." We played VERY poorly for most of the game until our defense turned it around and Markus became a force inside. It was an early turning point in our season and a really good road win. It could easily have gone the other way.

Same here, and that run Kennedy spurred in the 2nd half with is play was really a key point in the season, not just that game. He showed he could take the team on his back and was ready to go after that early academic layoff. Need a 100% team effort and that will get it done.

People just care about the campus sports a lot more than when me and Colorado were freshman. When we were freshman the ASU stuff happened and Doherty was on his last season, so by the time we finished our freshman year fan support was pretty much at an all time low.

Now our basketball team is an everyday talking point for students (boys and girls) and football is starting to gain some traction. People take pride in being a Mustang, and now the UT fans on campus can actually get [deleted] on because they are on equal ground with us in basketball and aren't perennial 10 game winners in football anymore.
