Haven't been to a game at Ford in a few years. We've got some SMU friends we'll be hanging out with on the boulevard beforehand, but I was wondering: you guys really think it will sell out? I had planned on trying to get some day-of tickets instead of paying out the nose through Baylor.

You'll be able to buy them through our ticket office at a reasonable price probably up to 15-30 days out. But yeah, it'll sell out.

I'm looking forward to the game. Good high school friend of mine and I both started at SMU/BU in '97. We all had to wade through the same terrible football together until Jones and Briles came to town. Both programs turned it around until June seemed to check out. I really hope Morris can right the ship. What will face value of tickets be through SMU? I'm starting to plan now since I am going to have to buy DFW tickets to 3 games on top of my season tickets. (Tech, TCU, SMU). Breaking the bank this year.

Its probably a good opportunity to have a great home team crowd. One of the best SMU home team crowd sellouts at SMU was that Friday Nite SMU v TCU game which held down the usual TCU crowd a bit. With a new energetic high profile SMU Coach SURELY SMU fans respond. I'm sure there will still be 6-8,000 Baylor fans but not quite as many as on Saturday. That's still leaves about 28,000-30,000 seats for SMU to fill which would be a historically high number of SMU fans.

Best guess? Somewhere in the $40-80 range.

That game is going to be rockin'. I'd be shocked if we pull off the upset, but something tells me we'll leave the game feeling much better about things than in recent years.

Forcing the other team's coaching staff to actually coach past the first 5 minutes would make things better than recent years.

Baylor will probably be in the preseason top 6, I would be surprised, if they don't have more than 6-8,000 there.
