Ponyfans Poster Fantasy Draft

Post by NY Pony »

As we are entering what will be a slow week until Thursday, I thought it would be fun to think about trying to draft an ultimate team of Ponyfans characters, some who are still with us and others who have fallen by the wayside. Think of this like Dave Chapelle's racial draft and a recap of the "Best of Ponyfans" over the years.

So with the first pick in the 2015 PF draft, I select Junebug. He's a well rounded poster, solid avatar, strange use of punctuation and spacing, a bit irrational. Solid poster. His rant this year showed solid MVP potential.

I was tempted to with Plano Stang for those red exclamation points...

Who's on the clock?

Kinda was thinking it would be good entertainment. I was hoping for some love to be shown to great posters who are no longer with us as well though

I fondly recall oldpony (I believe that was his handle) who posted an unreadable rant one night and then no more. It was confirmed that he passed away at that time and I truly believe he did so while having a stroke during a PF post.

i think the best ones are always player's dads when they eventually pop - which they always seem to do. June's son was also a nice cameo.

Yes. And if you read down the comments you will see the questions about his post and then PK brings up the concern for his health. Pony Pride, I believe, did some subsequent checking and it was confirmed he had passed away.
