Cincy still has Tulsa on the Road and Memphis at Home.

How are we (Temple) embarrassing?

You are not, the post you quoted was.

Conference gets two bids unless SMU finishes second in conference and doesn't win the tourney, then there are three.

I think there's a chance the American gets three - SMU, Temple, and Cincinnati - in, but two is a definite possibility. Although some brackets show Tulsa "on the bubble", I don't really think they have a realistic chance.

Even if a "long shot" like UConn or Memphis wins the conference tournament, I don't think the committee would put four teams from the American in so Cincinnati would probably be out.

Of course, there are still games (and a conference tournament) to be played, so things could still change.

Memphis beats Connecticut 75-72 as the Huskies continue their free fall.

Really need to beat them on CBS national broadcast. By like 15.

Yeah.

i still think we beat both of them, but I am not naive enough to dismiss our occasional road woes.

yeah if Temple beats Tulsa and say the AAC ends in a 3 way tie for first (each with 4 losses) wouldn't we effectively have to lose 3 more games to miss the No. 1 seed because we would have at minimum 3 wins against Tulsa/Temple. Temple would have only 1 and Tulsa would have 2. I think that's right. Of course, Tulsa could still end up 1st if they win out and we lose 2 or they beat SMU but also win the rest of their games

If Temple beats Tulsa, and we beat Tulsa, we win conference no matter how the rest of the games turn out.

Houston has a 22-12 lead on Cincy. Octavius Ellis was ejected for a flagrant 2

Hard to believe there is any way Cincinnati will lose this.

Cinci looks awful yet they are still in this game. Really stupid play by Ellis.
