I don't remember a David Milker even playing for SMU. Yes - but I also put in the caveat star player. Not as good with my baseball history as football, but IT seems like far and away the biggest hoops star that comes to games. Most everyone knows IT was a star, but don't know Miller, Rollins, and Deizell as players. John Briggs comes to every game as well as far as I can tell, so I am not denigrating other former players that come to games, just saying very few with the pedigree of IT do. Maybe Koncak, Sasser, Armstrong, Wright, Phillips, Q and a few other would make the list. But as I said, my knowledge of SMU hoops is a little limited. Lastly, I also meant to include football stars. There are not many stars that come football games. So my comment was meant to point out how rare it is for guys like IT to be as a dedicated fan as the rest of us schlubs.

David, Bobby, and Larry were key players during a good BB era that included a conference championship. IT stands alone when you speak of Mustang greats, but I was just pointing out that we do have many from the past that do show up.

And I will try to make more games so you can see a football star in attendance.

Yes please come to more games so that we can see a football star, your carpool buddy, ponyte. I hear he had a crucial black on "The Pitch" against No. 2 Texas in Austin. FYI - I do know he moved and he no longer regales you with the story of The Pitch. Thanks for the ball history lesson. I need to study up on my pre 1983 hoops knowledge.

And I heard David wrote a check to help redo Moody.

You can't be a bigger star than that.

He left me. He is in New Orleans now. And yes I got what you meant and my feelings are hurt.

IT always has a smile on his face and a kind word. He knows this game and this school and helps both however he can. Blessed to have him in the SMU family.

Bob Begert from those great 60's teams used to attend games. I assume he still does
