There are some shirts in the stands that have players' names and numbers on them. I assume those are the players' families and girlfriends wearing them (except for the Charlie Berry For Heisman t-shirts .... those are just groupies, I'm sure.) Question: who makes these? Is there a place we can get some made for PonyFans? It would look very cool if you have a bunch of shirts that say MARTIN 8, HAYWOOD 60, CHASE 82, KENNEDY 89, HUMPHREY 26, STURDIVANT 29, etc. I know it might not be the most cost-effective thing in the world, but I bet you'd sell more than you think. Hell, I'd buy a bunch of them. (Couple of requests: on the front, put SMU and the TRADITIONAL PONY logo -- not that new arched thing that seems to be popping up in altogether too many places. And make the shirts either red, blue or gray -- not a white t-shirt. )
Also: major kudos to the marketing department for getting those video clips from Bobby Knight, Bill Parcells, Coach K, Eric Dickerson, etc., for the tribute to Cash Birdwell. That was a really nice touch in a tribute to a great Mustang. WELL DONE!
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"

Great idea. I'd order a bunch of them.
If nothing else, good way to tout SMU at the gym, etc.
And you're right on with your comments about the video messages. That was very nice of those guys to do them.

If we just had a PA system that you could hear on the East side of Ford, I might know what you are talking about. I saw the videos on the screen, but had no idea what they were about. Thanks for filling me in.
Just send 'da money.

I'd wear almost any of them. But I'd buy a few, too. Kennedy, Ieremia-Stansbury, DeMyron, Nnabuife, Rogers, BobbyC, Sturdivant, Henderson, Humphrey, and the mighty Zack Sledge.

I'll say this about Zack Sledge, he's got a great comic book name.
Somebody ought to do his backstory...where he was a black ops Army intelligence agent on a covert mission behind enemy lines, shot and left for dead in the jungles of Vietnam...where he recovered under the watchful eye of a withering zen master who helped him tap into his inner strength and power to become...ZACK SLEDGE, AMERICAN HERO!!!
I even have a theme song for the inevitable cartoon:
ZACK SLEDGE, AMERICAN HERO!!!
ZACK SLEDGE, AMERICAN HERO!!!
