Worthy of another thread. He wrapped up the AAC POY tonight. He was great.

He wants the rock and shoots with confidence. As Stallion mentioned in another thread, the zero turnovers are the real deal on the road. Wow.

Well to be fair he was playing off the ball for the bigger portion of the game.

There just aren't many college players that can knock down clutch Second Half 3s when the game is on the line like he does. A lot of these hotshot 3 point shooters fade when their legs get tired. Nic is the dagger in the heart

I have consistently said since my college days that Gene Phillips is the best SMU player I have ever seen, and I've seen em all since 1968.

Now, I'm not so sure.

Nic should definitely get it, but according to Len Elmore's complicated weighted system, Boatwright is the runaway!

Total garbage of course. Nic Moore is the POY in the AAC this year.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Kid is clutch.

And at his size, you know he has the heart of a lion and the mental toughness/poise of a true champion.

Hope to see him one more year.

Nic Moore is the most clutch player SMU has had in any sport post-DP. Easily.
It is wonderful watching him play and take his game to the next level.

Kyle padron

I wouldn't call Kyle clutch after the end of his sophomore year. June ruined him.

Gene Phillips is my all time choice for best player. There are several other good ones
that I won't bother to list right now, but, no doubt, Nic is rising on that list with every
game. Hopefully we will get to see him in the American & the NCAA tournaments and then
he has a whole year left to show us what he can do. He certainly has played great and been
clutch in many games. I keep looking at the picture of Nic hitting the 3 to win the game
against California in the NIT last year. I believe his is the POY in the American.
