It was a great team effort. I love that none of us can really say one person was POG. I love watching our team play.

Such a strange feeling expecting to win now after so many years (decades) of disappointment ending of games..

I am still not there yet. On pins and needles waiting for the shoe to drop.

guys step up at the end rather than crumble. Last year's team was pretty weak with no confidence in closing out. my big concern is not hitting FT's in a tight game soon.

It is definitely tickets sold. Was there last night and there were a lot of empties - as there have been all season in Memphis. Its all relative though, there were still 10k+.

Agree with Terry's comments about the Memphis fans being awful. I'm always amazed at the garbage that comes from their mouths. They are passionate, but just go about their "support" in the wrong way.

Sterling gets POG in my opinion. Ever since his minutes have increased, we have been a different team. He does the little things and does them well.

Some Memphis fans can't believe they lost twice to a team as bad as SMU. Other are asking if those people are idiots and cannot read rankings.

One guy blames the loss on Memphis not starting to foul about a minute earlier. He believes that we would have missed most of our FT's and Memphis would have gotten the rebound and scored each time.

Man, they're sore losers.

So, I don't feel bad for saying eff Memphis and their fans.

Yep. Last two games should have been blow outs but our FTs have kept the game a bit closer than I like. FTs are huge come tourney time. Need to shoot a better percentage (54% last night), though I like the fact we are getting to the line a lot.

SMU starters outscored Memphis starters 51-31 last nite. Memphis starters only had 12 buckets. Nice

Yes, but that's because their PG fouled out early in the 2nd and another left after getting an elbow to the jaw. If not for their bench, it would have been quite the blowout - their bench outscored ours 26-15.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

The ONLY thing that upset me about Sterling's game last night is several times he passed up open looks behind the arc. I know LB likes them to pass it around but he had a few great looks and didn't pull the trigger. He thought it about but passed. He has a fantastic shot and if he can start hitting the three consistently that changes everything for this offense.
